How do I tell my HUSBAND he has bad breath?

Please how can I tell my husband that he has bad breath in a polite way??

cos am actually fed up, he brushes but still the odour is unbearable especially at night.. and am very sure am not the only one who has noticed it..

I want to tell him but I don't know how....
